Everything You Need to Know About LA’s Best Art Showcasing of the Year.

Los Angeles is a place where diversity comes together, and its distinct multicultural essence makes it a global destination for art. The innovative LA Art Show transcends all borders and appeals to a collective audience of spectators. Respected as the most comprehensive International Contemporary Art Show in the United States, this year’s fair is focused on melding the modern and contemporary. With an expedition that spans over 200,000 square feet, you can’t miss the LA Art Show. 


When and Where

The LA Art Show has its grand opening on January 23rd and comes to a dazzling end on January 27th. The exhibition is hosted at the Los Angeles Convention Center, located at 1201 South Figueroa Street, West Hall. The festivities begin at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 23rd, and conclude at 11:00 pm. The VIP Red Card Special Collectors Preview begins an hour early at 6:00 pm, allowing for an exclusive browsing opportunity. The show runs from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm Thursday through Saturday and from 11:00 am to 5 pm on Sunday.

For easy navigation, you can access a map of the Los Angeles Convention Center here. Parking is available at the Convention Center for a $20 flat rate or at the Venice Boulevard Parking lot for $15. 


Things to See 

This year’s event will be one for the books. The different shows and exhibits are sure to enthrall spectators and leave guests truly mesmerized. MODERN + CONTEMPORARY is the largest installation section and includes a variety of art forms such as painting, illustration, animation, and sculpture. CORE is a space featuring leading contemporary art galleries of the world. Pan Asian Ink Painting, which is rarely seen outside of the East, will be showcased around the fair.


Get Your Tickets 

This event is sure to be popular, so you’ll want to get your tickets early. One day general admission is $30, and the exclusive four-day pass is offered at a great deal for $60. You can purchase your tickets here. 

To take part in the VIP experience, get tickets for the Opening Night Premiere Party benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and hosted by award-winning actor, director, and producer Jon Hamm. Featuring art, music, food, and drinks, this is a perfect way to kick off the weekend!
